Warrior, the Game
Realistic is a dangerous word in the game industry. Realistic games often bog down in detailed simulation, and no one has any fun. At the same time, though, tabletop games are notorious for their terrible representation of guns and gunplay. Want something better? Want the hard-hitting action of Jason Bourne or John Wick in a table-top game that is fast and easy to play, realistic, and flexible enough to let you tell the story you want to tell?
Coming soon: “Warrior,” a new table-top role-playing game from Fantasy v Reality. High-stakes, high-impact, but simple to operate, “Warrior” offers you a pen-and-paper game system which is simple to use but realistic. If you are familiar with Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, or any other modern d20 system, you are already familiar with the core mechanics of “Warrior.” However, for “Warrior” the system has been stripped down, replacing the countless complex mechanisms of race, class, level, proficiency, skill, spell, etc. with a simple-to-use proficiency-card mechanism tailored to modern settings and quick, brutal, cover-based gunplay. Whether you’re playing a hard-boiled Noir detective, a cyberpunk street warrior, a special forces operator, or just an armed citizen caught in the wrong place at the wrong time, “Warrior” is about getting off the X, getting to cover, and getting accurate rounds on target before your enemy can do the same. “Warrior” offers countless feats for the enthusiast of gritty, realistic action movies, allowing you to create the gunfighter of your imagination with detail and fidelity. Designed by a military veteran, professional firearms instructor, and veteran of over two decades of tabletop gaming experience, “Warrior” has been shaped at every level to give you the right balance of realism, simplicity, and flexibility for modern, tactical gameplay.
Keep moving, keep your rounds center-mass, and good luck.
